Entries are made by registering on www.PhotoArtPeople.com and uploading your photo as instructed. This contest is open to amateur photographers only.  One photo entry per registrant.

Rules and conditions:

1. Open to non-professional U.S.-based photographers only – professional is defined as someone who either has a business name for their photography business or a website devoted to marketing their services as a photographer or selling their images.  Valid entry in “America’s Got Photographic Talent” requires entrant to click a box that states that they are not a professional, and therefore eligible.
2. Photos are judged by a panel of photographers and PAP employees.  Judges’ decisions are final.
3. Judging criteria are equally weighted on the following factors:1) overall best photo for a canvas enlargement 2) best photographic technique, 3) most original
4. Prizes: First place entrant receives a check for $100.
5. Each valid entry is entitled to a 30% discount on a single canvas image from PhotoArt People.  Discount must be used by December 31, 2009.
6. Use of the winning (1st place) image:  PAP may publish the winning image on the PAP website for a period not to exceed 1 year and use the image in publicity materials for the same period.
7. One image per entrant form.  Entry form requires name, phone, e-mail and address as well as confirmation that the entrant is not a professional photographer.  Also the entrant must click a box that states that they have the rights to the image and indemnify PAP. Entrant may opt out to receive future e-mail announcements from PAP.  No purchase required.  Contest closes on November 15, 2009 at midnight. Winner announced on November 21, 2009.
